I really like the long shot but I’m not sure there’s enough intensity in the face.
I write Regency-set historical romance with strong heroines and adorable heroes (they're also strong! but I think "adorable" is the word I most commonly see used to describe them). I'm a big geek of both the "history and English" and the "Star Trek" variety.
